PAYME GUIDE

PrePayMe

Arrange a payment now. Get a reminder when it is due. Review and approve it in your wallet.

Set up an arrangement

  1. Connect your sending wallet, enter the recipient's PayMe handle and check the recipient shown.
  2. Choose SOL or a supported token from your wallet, set the token amount and add what the payment is for.
  3. Choose the first payment date and timezone. Set one payment, or a fixed number of weekly or monthly payments.
  4. Add your reminder email. You can also add the recipient's email to invite them to receive notifications.
  5. Verify your wallet and confirm your reminder email when asked. Once an email is verified for that wallet, you do not need to confirm the same pair for every arrangement.

When a payment is due

Open the reminder or your payments in PrePayMe, review the recipient, token, amount and fee, then approve the payment in your wallet. Amounts are set in the chosen token, not a guaranteed dollar value.

If a payment is already due when you activate the arrangement, its first reminder waits until the next morning. Future reminders are scheduled for the due date. A follow-up is scheduled two days after the first reminder if the payment remains unpaid. Reminder times use the arrangement's timezone.

Keep both sides informed

Recipients can sign in with X to their PayMe dashboard to see incoming arrangements and payments. Unpaid payments remain visible after their due date. An email address is not required to view incoming payments in the dashboard.

A recipient whose email is supplied receives an invitation to enable notifications. Recipient reminders require their consent, and they can change their email preferences or unsubscribe.

Reminders, not automatic payments

Creating an arrangement does not transfer or reserve funds. Scheduled payments are not funded or guaranteed. Each payment needs the sender's wallet approval and follows the existing PayMe payment flow and fees.

PrePayMe supports individual SOL and supported token payments. It does not schedule NFT transfers or group payments.
